With over 12 years of experience, Kenza specializes in corporate, finance and projects. She advises financial institutions, private equity funds, energy companies, multinational corporations, and public entities on high profile transactions in Africa. She is well-versed in the operational challenges specific to the continent and has a firm grasp of local nuances.

Before founding Uriti in 2022, Kenza headed the Project Finance department of Dentons in Casablanca with a particular focus on Francophone Africa. Prior to joining Dentons, she was an associate within Magic Circle (Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy) and White & Case in Paris and Casablanca. Kenza was also a legal counsel at Credit Agricole CIB in New York City.

Kenza has worked on numerous energy and infrastructure transactions, such as the UK-Morocco Power Project, the financing of the new airport of Libreville (Gabon), and the financing of the Khalladi and Tarfaya wind farms.

Her extensive experience enabled her to develop a thorough understanding of infrastructure related fields, most notably energy, environment, transportation, telecommunications, hospitality, healthcare, and agriculture. She also has a niche expertise in sustainable investments, ESG & CSR issues.

Kenza has been ranked amongst the "35 Women Moving Africa Forward" by NBC Washington and was featured within "Rising Woman 2020" as an influential trailblazer in socio-economic developments. She is part of the Board of Directors of the Great Green Wall of Africa Foundation and an Ambassador for Women in Africa Initiative in Morocco.

Kenza is admitted to the Casablanca Bar and received a Professional Master Degree in International Business Law from Jean Moulin – Paris Sud 11 University and a LLM in Business Law in Arab Countries from Paris II – Panthéon Assas University. She is a native Arabic and French speaker and speaks fluent English.

Specialized in M&A, corporate governance and international arbitration, Laurent Sablé has been advising clients in both transactional and litigation matters for over 25 years.

Before joining URITI as co-managing partner in 2025, he held positions of partner and managing partner at prestigious firms such as UGGC Avocats, Jeantet and Brandford Griffith & Associés, after starting his career at Veil Armfelt Jourde la Garanderie.

Laurent advises French, Moroccan and international companies, investment funds and financial institutions on M&A and private equity transactions involving both listed and unlisted companies across Africa, with a strong focus on Morocco and OHADA jurisdictions. He has also developed significant expertise in real estate and hospitality deals, and regularly advises major players in the construction, cement and pharmaceutical sectors. More recently, he has built a niche practice in the aeronautics industry.

With a deep understanding of Morocco's institutional environment and business landscape, Laurent supports foreign investors in their market entry and long-term strategies, combining legal insight with strategic guidance. His knowledge of the Moroccan ecosystem makes him a valuable partner for companies seeking to establish or expand their presence in the region.

Laurent also represents leading companies in national and international arbitration, whether ad hoc or under the rules of ICC Paris, ICC Maroc, DIFC (Dubai), ICSID or AJCC for OHADA-related disputes. He takes a pragmatic approach, favoring alternative dispute resolution whenever possible, and regularly works with legal finance providers to arrange funding for arbitration proceedings. His expertise extends beyond the arbitration phase to enforcement and recovery procedures across multiple jurisdictions.

In parallel to his legal practice, Laurent serves as an independent director of several listed and unlisted companies in France and Morocco. He also sits on the board of the CGEM Commerce and Services Federation and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Morocco (CFCIM). He is France's Foreign Trade Advisor in Morocco.

Laurent Sablé is regularly recognized among the top legal professionals in Africa. He was ranked 31st among the 100 most influential business lawyers in Africa by Jeune Afrique Business+ (2024), and has been named a "Notable Practitioner" in Capital Markets and M&A by IFLR1000 (2024), as well as a "Best Lawyer" in the same fields by Best Lawyers (2024).

Laurent is admitted to the Paris Bar. He holds a Professional Master's degree in Business Law and Tax from Paris I – La Sorbonne University. He is fluent in French and English.

Aya is a legal adviser specializing in international law, with a strong focus on project finance and development.

Aya has gained valuable experience through internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Multilateral Cooperation Department and the Corporate Business Unit of Société Générale. She then joined Uriti, where she actively contributes to the firm's key projects.

Versatile and multidisciplinary, Aya's expertise spans economic law (competition, distribution, and consumer protection), intellectual property law, and various aspects of Moroccan business law.

Aya holds a master's degree in international law from Hassan II University in Casablanca and is currently pursuing a PhD in international economic law at Mohammed V University in Rabat. Her academic background is complemented by hands-on experience as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law in Rabat Agdal, providing her with a well-rounded perspective that bridges theory and practice.
