With over 12 years of experience, Kenza specializes in corporate, finance and projects. She advises financial institutions, private equity funds, energy companies, multinational corporations, and public entities on high profile transactions in Africa. She is well-versed in the operational challenges specific to the continent and has a firm grasp of local nuances.
Before founding Uriti in 2022, Kenza headed the Project Finance department of Dentons in Casablanca with a particular focus on Francophone Africa. Prior to joining Dentons, she was an associate within Magic Circle (Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy) and White & Case in Paris and Casablanca. Kenza was also a legal counsel at Credit Agricole CIB in New York City.
Kenza has worked on numerous energy and infrastructure transactions, such as the UK- Morocco Power Project, the financing of the new airport of Libreville (Gabon), and the financing of the Khalladi and Tarfaya wind farms.
Her extensive experience enabled her to develop a thorough understanding of infrastructure related fields, most notably energy, environment, transportation, telecommunications, hospitality, healthcare, and agriculture. She also has a niche expertise in sustainable investments, ESG & CSR issues.
Kenza has been ranked amongst the “35 Women Moving Africa Forward” by NBC Washington and was featured within “Rising Woman 2020” as an influential trailblazer in socio-economic developments. She is part of the Board of Directors of the Great Green Wall of Africa Foundation and an Ambassador for Women in Africa Initiative in Morocco.
Kenza is admitted to the Casablanca Bar and received a Professional Master Degree in International Business Law from Jean Moulin – Paris Sud 11 University and a LLM in Business Law in Arab Countries from Paris II – Panthéon Assas University. She is a native Arabic and French speaker and speaks fluent English.

Specialized in M&A, corporate governance and international arbitration, Laurent Sablé has
been advising clients in both transactional and litigation matters for over 25 years.
Before joining URITI as co-managing partner in 2025, he held positions of partner and
managing partner at prestigious firms such as UGGC Avocats, Jeantet and Brandford Griffith
& Associés, after starting his career at Veil Armfelt Jourde la Garanderie.
Laurent advises French, Moroccan and international companies, investment funds and
financial institutions on M&A and private equity transactions involving both listed and unlisted
companies across Africa, with a strong focus on Morocco and OHADA jurisdictions. He has
also developed significant expertise in real estate and hospitality deals, and regularly advises
major players in the construction, cement and pharmaceutical sectors. More recently, he has
built a niche practice in the aeronautics industry.
With a deep understanding of Morocco’s institutional environment and business landscape,
Laurent supports foreign investors in their market entry and long-term strategies, combining
legal insight with strategic guidance. His knowledge of the Moroccan ecosystem makes him

Laurent also represents leading companies in national and international arbitration, whether

Stéphanie specializes in corporate, finance, and project development. She advises clients on
complex financial transactions with a strong focus on infrastructure and energy—both
renewable and conventional—throughout Africa. She provides strategic, end-to-end support
across all stages of project finance deals, from structuring and negotiation to financial close.
Prior to joining URITI in 2025, Stéphanie worked at several leading international and local
law firms, including Arendt & Medenarch in Luxembourg and Thiam & Associés, where she
built strong expertise in both civil law and the OHADA legal framework.
Her practice spans project development, project finance, and structured finance. Stéphanie
regularly advises development finance institutions, commercial banks, and corporate
sponsors on innovative financing solutions that underpin Africa’s infrastructure and energy
transition. Her notable transactions include the development and financing of a multi-country
photovoltaic project spanning Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Mali, as well
as the Simandou mining and infrastructure project in Guinea—one of the largest iron ore
projects in the world—where she advised on key financing and structuring aspects.
Stéphanie plays an active role in advancing sustainable finance initiatives and champions the
mobilization of private capital to bridge the climate financing gap. Her experience includes
structuring climate adaptation projects using a range of financial instruments, including
project finance, venture capital, and corporate bonds. She is deeply committed to fostering

Aya is a legal adviser specializing in international law, with a strong focus on project finance
and development.
Aya has gained valuable experience through internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs'
Multilateral Cooperation Department and the Corporate Business Unit of Société Générale.
She then joined Uriti, where she actively contributes to the firm’s key projects.
Versatile and multidisciplinary, Aya’s expertise spans economic law (competition, distribution,
and consumer protection), intellectual property law, and various aspects of Moroccan
business law.
Aya holds a master’s degree in international law from Hassan II University in Casablanca
and is currently pursuing a PhD in international economic law at Mohammed V University in
Rabat. Her academic background is complemented by hands-on experience as a teaching
assistant at the Faculty of Law in Rabat Agdal, providing her with a well-rounded perspective
that bridges theory and practice.
